Privacy policy

This website has no forms or user accounts, so we do not collect personal data directly through it. We do process some data when you book or contact us, and when you accept analytics cookies. This policy explains how, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

What data we use, why, and on what legal basis

Online bookings with TheFork

The booking module on this website belongs to TheFork. The details you enter (name, phone, email, date, party size and notes) are collected by TheFork, which processes them under its own privacy policy. We access your booking in the TheFork app only to prepare your table and look after you. Legal basis: managing the booking you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Bookings and enquiries by WhatsApp or phone

If you message us on WhatsApp or call us, we use your name, phone number and booking details to record the booking in the TheFork app and reply to you. We do not store your data in any other system. WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta), which handles messages under its own policy. Legal basis: responding to your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Analytics and campaign measurement

Only if you accept them in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how the website is used and to measure our campaigns: pages viewed, clicks on buttons such as “Book” or “WhatsApp”, device type, approximate location and cookie identifiers. We do not use this data to identify you. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in Cookie settings. See the cookie policy for details.

How long we keep data

• Booking data: as long as needed to manage the booking and as set out in TheFork's terms.
• Analytics data: the period configured in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.

Recipients and international transfers

We do not sell or share your data with third parties unless required by law. The providers needed to run the service are involved: TheFork (bookings), Google (analytics and advertising), Meta (WhatsApp) and the website host. Google and Meta may transfer data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to [EMAIL] or by post to Hotel Playa del Moro, S.A., Calle Bonança, 1, 07560 Cala Millor (Illes Balears), Spain, enclosing a copy of your ID. For bookings made on TheFork, you can also contact TheFork directly.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
